The ideal addition to the APIDEA Mating Box – Indispensable for successful queen breeding

Our new drone excluder offers effective protection for your queen breeding – simple, safe, and reliable. The excluder is easily inserted into the entrance of the APIDEA mating hive from the inside – without any additional fastening and protects against the intrusion of foreign drones.

Product Features

• Is inserted directly into the entrance of the box from the inside without tools – no additional effort required
• Effectively prevents the intrusion of foreign drones and keeps any remaining drones in the box
• Specially designed for APIDEA mating boxes
• The entrance is less likely to be eaten away – thus increasing the lifespan of the mating box

Application
The drone excluder is installed before the bees are added. The bees should be sieved beforehand to ensure that the entrance is not blocked by any drones from the inside. Insert the drone barrier from the inside of the hive into the entrance hole.
